Educational Psychologist II

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessment for students with learning or adjustment difficulties to identify their learning, emotional, and behavioural needs;
• Provide consultation and support to staff and parents to cater for students diverse educational needs;
• Lead or participate in case meetings, student reviews, and team discussions;
• Deliver professional learning workshops and sharing activities for staff and parents to enhance understanding and support for students with special educational needs;
• Collaborate with school management, guidance team, and external professionals to develop coordinated support plans;
• Perform other professional duties as required.

Requirements:

• A Bachelors degree in Psychology from a local university, or equivalent;
• A Masters degree in Educational Psychology (Professional Practice) from a local university, or equivalent;
• Eligibility for membership in the Division of Educational Psychology of the Hong Kong Psychological Society;
• A minimum of 3 years experience as a qualified Educational Psychologist;
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese;
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
• A collaborative and flexible approach to working within a multidisciplinary environment.
