Job Summary: Reporting to School Director of Hong Kong Art School (“School”) and the Administrative Manager is responsible for providing a wide range of administrative duties to the School, contributing to the external relations and school development as well as internal operations. Job Duties: To oversee academic programme administrative services, e.g. student admission, enrollment, timetabling, programme operation, exchange and scholarship logistics etc. To assist in quality assurance and academic accreditation. To conduct regular review on workflows, guidelines and procedures, and to liaise with internal and external parties, including academic collaborators, to ensure operational effectiveness. Assist School Director to manage the Schools governance processes and develop/enhance the Schools policies and regulations to ensure its in line with the requirements of the governance bodies. Liaise with corresponding government bureaus or professional bodies where necessary. Work closely with the teaching team and the School partners to ensure that the key student lifecycle processes are delivered consistently and accurately. To oversee the handling and the maintenance of students records, and to contribute and lead (if necessary) the development and implementation of systems and procedures associated with the collection and the management of student data, including but not limited to data required for collating academic transcripts and compiling annual reports of various natures. To oversee the arrangements for induction/ orientation of new students. Provide secretarial support to School committees. Monitor and control the budget for the School. To perform any ad hoc duties as assigned by supervisor. Working location: Youth Square, Chai Wan. Job Requirements: Degree holder with at least 7 years of relevant working experience in tertiary education sector, or other related fields. A good understanding of the processes, standards and requirements of HKCAAVQ accreditation and the programme registration and approval processes with EDB will be an added advantage. Excellent communication and writing skills in English and Chinese. Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred. Detail-oriented, proactive, independent, have strong sense of responsibility and possess good organization and problem-solving skills. Able to work under pressure. Immediate available is preferred.
