Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)- Must-Have
- Minimum8years of professional experience in IT, covering software development, system integration, or infrastructure
- Minimum3years of proven experience as a Solution Architect / Enterprise Architect
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing large-scale, mission‑critical enterprise solutions
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) and cloud migration projects
- Background in the aviation, transportation, or travel industry is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF or similar)
- Expertise in microservices architecture, API design, and integration patterns
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages and technology stacks
- Deep understanding of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL), data warehousing, and ETL/ELT processes
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift (Preferred)) and orchestration platforms
- Knowledge of security principles, authentication mechanisms, compliance standards, and best practices
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub), and Infrastructure as Code
- Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving abilities
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and mentor technical teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
- Strategic thinking with a pragmatic approach to solution delivery
- Collaborative mindset with strong teamwork and relationship‑building capabilities
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) – mandatory
- Fluency in Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) (written and spoken) – mandatory
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in both languages
- Capable of creating documentation and delivering presentations in English and Chinese
Good‑to‑Have- Airline or travel industry knowledge is highly beneficial
- Understanding of airline reservation systems, passenger service systems (PSS), or aviation‑specific applications is a strong advantage
- Knowledge of global distribution systems (GDS), loyalty platforms, or e‑commerce systems
- Awareness of aviation industry regulations and data privacy requirements (GDPR, PCI‑DSS)
Role Descriptions / Expectations from the Role- Support project planning activities including resource estimation, risk assessment, and timeline development
- Monitor solution implementation and ensure alignment with architectural vision
- Provide post‑implementation support and continuous improvement recommendations
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of architectural decisions and technical specifications
