SENIOR ACCOUNTING MANAGER (45K-55K) - financial services / SFC Type 1, 4 & 9

About the Company 

We are a fast-growing boutique-sized financial services provider in Hong Kong, licensed and regulated by the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) under Type 1 (Dealing in Securities), Type 4 (Advising on Securities), and Type 9 (Asset Management).

Team Structure 

  • Report to Operation Director 

  • Accounting team = 3 members

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise accounting operations for several companies, including a high-volume securities firm and smaller entities.

  • Prepare and submit weekly revenue forecasts.

  • Consolidate and deliver timely management reports, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

  • Coordinate payment arrangements for OTC market settlements.

  • Manage company funds, including house accounts and term deposits.

  • Participate in financial regulatory discussions, particularly regarding FRR compliance for new projects.

  • Oversee general accounting tasks such as bank account setup, cash management, and daily fund transfers.

  • Perform ad hoc assignments as needed.

Ideal Candidates :

  • Degree in Accounting or equivalent qualifications

  • An advantage : HKICPA or equivalent 

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting/auditing for SFC-licensed corporations (Type 1, 4, 9).

  • Familiar with FRR 

  • Strong knowledge of Hong Kong accounting standards, taxation, and SFC regulations.

  • Proven leadership and interpersonal skills.

  • High level of risk awareness and ability to work under pressure.

  • Proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, PivotTables).

  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and adaptable.
