Senior IT Manager (Application)

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications while assessing the feasibility of proposed solutions.

• Lead and manage vendors to ensure the successful delivery of application projects through all phases: development, quality assurance, user acceptance testing (UAT), production launch, and ongoing maintenance support.

• Provide technical expertise and support to end-users, troubleshooting issues, resolving system errors, and ensuring smooth and uninterrupted application operations.

• Maintain thorough documentation of applications, including user manuals, technical specifications, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Facilitate training sessions to educate users on application usage and best practices.

• Ensure all applications comply with relevant security standards and regulations, assisting in the implementation of appropriate security measures, regular audits, and risk assessments.

• Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals in application management.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or related fields.

• A minimum of 12 years of experience with a proven track record in IT application development, project management, and vendor management.

• Previous experience in a sizable property management or property development firm is a plus.

• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage IT applications teams and external service providers.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a solid understanding of application life cycles.

• Business-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and business units to deliver high-quality application solutions.

• Familiarity with major SaaS platforms such as CRM, HRMS, ERP, PMS, and FMS.

• Knowledge of smart facilities and building management applications.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin).
