Revitalising Historic Buildings Through Partnership Scheme - a Revitalisation Scheme Project near Tin Liu, Ma Wan.

NY Architects & Associates Ltd has been commissioned by an NGO for a project near Tin Liu, Ma Wan, Tsuen Wan, New Territories, Hong Kong. Applicants are invited for the following resident site staff with minimum qualifications as below :-

Resident Clerk of Works (RCOW)

• Diploma or Higher Certificate in Building Studies from Construction Industry Council in Hong Kong / Hong Kong Institute of Construction / Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education / Technical Institute / Technical College / Polytechnic University / Polytechnic in Hong Kong or equivalent; AND

• 8 years of relevant post-qualification experience; OR

• 5 years of relevant experience as Resident Assistant Clerk of Works or equivalent in public works projects or those listed in Section 4.5.2 of the RSS Management Handbook; AND

• Met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2* or above in English Language and Chinese Language in Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) / Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE), or equivalent

[Note * For appointment purpose, Grade C and Grade E in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to Level 3 and Level 2 respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth]

Contract period will be about 12 months and the tentative commencement date of employment will be in June 2025. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience in accordance with the prevailing Government‘s conditions and terms applicable for Resident Site Staff rank
