Treasury Manager

Our client is a leading OEM manufacturer specializing in electrical household appliances for worldwide brand names. Due to their continued business growth in Asia, they are now looking for a seasoned Treasury Manager to be part of their growing team. Based in their Hong Kong office, he/she reports directly to the Finance Director of the group with the following key responsibilities:

Job Overview

The Treasury Manager is responsible for overseeing the groups financial activities, including cash management, liquidity forecasting, and risk assessment. This role involves assisting the Finance Director in developing strategies to optimize the companys financial assets while ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies.

Principle Accountabilities

• Manage daily cash flow and liquidity to meet operational needs.

• Manage working capital covering AR, AP and inventory.

• Forecast cash requirements and optimize cash management strategies.

• Oversee investment activities and ensure proper management of financial assets.

• Analyze financial risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.

• Prepare reports on cash position, investments, and financial forecasts.

• Collaborate with other departments to support financial goals and objectives.

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.

• Manage banking relationships and negotiate terms for financial services.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or other related disciplines.

• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in treasury management or financial analysis is required, with a proven track record of managing cash flow and investments.

• Qualified Accountant certification will be a plus.

• Experience in industrial or manufacturing industries is vital for success in this position.

• Well versed in financial markets and instruments.

• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.

• Excellent written and spoken in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
