Responsibilities:
- Manage and implement planned or unplanned maintenance works and alteration and improvement works (including budget planning and tender preparation) with minimal supervision from planning, implementation, until completion to the satisfaction of the asset owner
- Resolve fault cases through supervision of maintenance contractors
- Perform supervisory duties for maintenance and works contracts including buildings, plumbing and hydraulic maintenance, alteration and improvement works
- Coordinate with internal and external parties to develop schedule of works and to ensure the completion of works in safe and efficient manner with minimal impact to daily airport operations
- Assist in control of the expenditure of the maintenance works and works contract within the approved budget
- Assist in monitoring the quality, safety and performance of the contractors to ensure timely delivery and completion of works
- Review the contractors' submissions to ensure compliance with the specification and procedures
- Able to review existing strategies and develop solutions and innovative measures for preventive maintenance and refurbishment works
- Inspect the handover assets and incorporate into the maintenance plan
- Perform shift duties including overnight shift or weekend shift if required for the completion of the works
Requirements:
- Higher Diploma or above in Building Studies, Facility Management, Building Surveying, Structural Engineering or other related disciplines with at least 4 years' relevant working experience in building construction, fit-out works, buildings maintenance works and/or hydraulic maintenance works. Degree holder with 2 years' relevant working experience will also be considered
- Candidates without the above specified academic qualification but have 10 years' relevant working experience will also be considered
- Proactive, service-oriented and able to work independently
- Team player with good communication, interpersonal and organizing skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Possess a valid HK driving license (class 1, 2) is preferred
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
