Quality Assurance Responsibilities

•     Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with food safety standards

•     Assist in maintaining production hygiene standards and ensure adherence to occupational safety and health (OSH) requirements

•     Identify potential risks in the production process and implement measures to mitigate them

•     Train staff on food safety practices, quality control measures, and compliance with health regulations

•     Maintain accurate records of quality control inspections, audits, and corrective actions taken

•     Perform regular internal audits of food safety and quality processes to ensure adherence to regulations and company standards

•     Ad hoc assignments and projects as required

Quality Control Responsibilities

 •     Perform routine product quality checks, raw material, in-process, and finished goods to ensure quality specifications

•     Perform sensory evaluations of products to assess taste, texture, and appearance

•     Prepare and present quality reports to management, highlighting trends, issues, and areas for improvement

•     Liaise with internal departments and external testing laboratories to arrange sampling & testing activities and monitor the testing status

•     Investigate quality issues and defects, determining root causes and implementing corrective actions

•     Ensure compliance with local and international food safety regulations, including HACCP, GMP, and ISO standards

•     Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives in quality management

•     Ad hoc assignments and projects as required

Requirements

 •     Higher Diploma or above in food science, chemistry or other related field

•     3-5 years of experience in the food & beverage industry is an advantage

•     In-depth knowledge of local and international food safety standards

•     Strong analytical and observational skills to detect issues and ensure compliance

•     Proficiency in MS Office, strong MS Excel skills and word processing (both English and Chinese input)

•     Able to work under pressure and on a tight schedule in a dynamic working environment independently

•     Flexible, hands-on, detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
