Project Leader

[Appointment period: 18 months]

(Equivalent in rank to Assistant Social Work Officer (ASWO) for applicants holding a degree in Social Work or higher;

Equivalent in rank to Postdoctoral Fellow for applicants holding a Ph.D. in Social Work or relevant Social Sciences and Health subjects)

Duties:

The appointees will assist the project director in the research project - “Pathways to Recovery: Empowering Change and Growth through Family and Peer support with Motivational Interviewing”.

Key responsibilities include:

1. conducting comprehensive literature review;

2. assisting in developing intervention protocols, designing questionnaires, and creating research plans;

3. analyzing collected data and prepare draft reports;

4. conducting MITI coding for fidelity control;

5. supporting manuscript and proposal writing activities;

6. implementing and coordinating project activities, including:

   • Liaising with external stakeholders

   • Managing administrative and financial tasks

7. performing any other duties as assigned by the Project Director

Requirements:

Applicants should:

1. hold a Bachelors degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related social sciences discipline;

2. Honors degree holders preferred;

3. Minimum 3 years combined experience in:

   • Drug counseling

   • Project management

4. Motivational Interviewing (MI) practitioner certification advantageous;

5. fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese;

6. have good statistical knowledge;

7. have a strong sense of responsibility and good interpersonal skills;

8. graphic design, social media, video-editing skills and AI application knowledge will be in advantage and

9. be able to work independently
