Job Description - Pharmacy Assistant (Part-Time) (PHARM-25-0151)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide operational support across pharmacy services, including drug dispensing, pre-packing, ward stock replenishment, IV fluid restocking, medication refill services, and the handling of drug returns;
• Assist in daily pharmacy operations by supporting inventory management and ensuring the properhandling of pharmaceutical products to maintain accurate and efficient workflow within the Pharmacy;
• Assist in the management of pharmaceutical stock and storage, including inventory tasks such as cyclecounts and expiry checks. Support the upkeep of medical equipment, including pharmacy automationsystems, to ensure smooth and efficient operations within Pharmacy;
• Responsible for compiling pharmacy documentation, conducting data collection and analysis, andmaintaining the document control system to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency;
• Provide support to the aseptic and cytotoxic drug dispensing unit by assisting with stock management,transportation of pharmaceutical items, and environmental monitoring to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards; and
• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors

Job Requirements

• Completed Secondary School
• Candidates who are currently pursuing a Bachelor of Pharmacy or Higher Diploma in Dispensing Studies are preferred
• Relevant working experience is preferred
• Proficiency in written English and Chinese
• Good computer skills and familiar with Pharmacy IT systems e.g. ERP or HIS
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated and highly organised
