In Situ & Partners is a luxury interior design and architecture firm founded in 2011 and based in Hong Kong. The company specialises in high-end projects for hospitality, retail, residential, workspace sectors, and has also expanded into naval interior design for yachts.

We are seeking highly motivated Junior Interior Designers to join our vibrant team under the direct mentorship of our senior designers and directors.

Duties:

• Assist in developing design concepts, mood boards, and client presentations that tell a compelling story.

• Produce accurate and detailed technical drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and joinery details.

• Generate 3D models and photorealistic renderings in SketchUp and V-Ray/Enscape to visualize design intent.

• Research and source furniture, fixtures, materials, and finishes (FF&E), with a focus on local and regional suppliers.

• Prepare comprehensive sample boards and maintain our extensive material library.

• Join site visits across Hong Kong to conduct surveys, document progress, and assist with quality control.

• Collaborate with local vendors, contractors, and consultants.

• Assist in the preparation of full construction documentation sets

Who You Are:

A passionate and curious design graduate with a degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture, whose portfolio demonstrates a strong design sensibility and foundational technical skills.

The ideal candidate will be:

• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• A proactive problem-solver with a keen eye for detail, materiality, and composition.
• An excellent communicator in English (Cantonese or Mandarin is a strong plus), able to thrive in our fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks with precision.
• Possessing prior internship or 1-2 years of professional experience is preferred.
