Our client is a sizable corporation listed in Hong Kong with a significant footprint across the United Kingdom. They are seeking a highly capable Finance Director to lead their finance function and drive strategic financial initiatives across their UK offices.

This role requires a dedicated and experienced professional to provide critical financial leadership, ensuring effective and high-performance financial services are delivered company-wide. The successful candidate will be instrumental in safeguarding the companys financial health, providing strategic guidance, and maintaining strict compliance with all regulatory frameworks.

• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of finance professionals to deliver exceptional financial services and support across multiple UK offices.
• Act as a key strategic advisor to senior management, providing expert financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making and strengthen the companys financial position.
• Oversee the timely and accurate preparation of all financial accounting reporting packages, identifying and resolving any irregularities to maintain financial integrity.
• Drive the companys financial planning through the rigorous management of the annual budgeting and forecasting cycles, ensuring alignment with commercial goals.
• Maintain rigorous control of the companys financial health by managing operational risks and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of all financial data.
• Ensure meticulous compliance with all financial accounting standards, tax returns, and statutory requirements for all UK offices.
• Uphold strict adherence to all internal controls, policies, and requirements set forth by the holding group.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or above in Finance/ Accounting/ Business
• Candidates must be a professionally qualified accountant (e.g., HKICPA/ ACCA or etc).
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in finance, with a significant portion in a senior leadership role
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Finance Director
• Strong knowledge of UK financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting standards.
• Candidates with experience managing other European countries (EU) are considered as well
• Proven leadership skills, excellent business acumen, and the ability to operate effectively in a multi-jurisdictional environment.
• Good English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin) is required
