Overview

A fast-expanding China-based bank with a strong presence in cross-border business is seeking a high-calibre Economist.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide advice on a variety of economic, financial and policy issues that affect the Bank’s environment.
• Conduct in-depth economic and industry research to support the Bank’s strategy and business development.
• Forecast economic and financial indicators and conduct stress tests under different economic scenarios.
• Assist in ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Master’s degree or above in Economics or related disciplines.
• At least 3 years of experience in research (banking highly preferred).
• Strong analytical skills and excellent writing skills in both Chinese and English.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Team player with effective interpersonal skills to facilitate working relationships with others.
