Corporate Credit Risk Manager - Credit Policy (SME/Corporate Loan , Corporate Banking)
Responsibilities:
Develop and review corporate credit policies, including SME and corporate loans, the SME Financing Guarantee Scheme, digital banking, and other financing solutions, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and the Bank's corporate credit business development plan. Continuously monitor and evaluate their implementation.
Optimize risk management processes by organizing and conducting risk reviews for corporate lending activities.
Collaborate on cross-departmental initiatives, contributing to the research and development of innovative products in corporate lending. Identify, assess, and manage credit risks within the Bank's corporate credit operations and product offerings.
Establish corporate credit bureau policies and coordinate with credit reference agencies, such as CCRA.
Oversee asset quality, large exposures, risk concentrations, early warning mechanisms, loan classifications, problem loan management, and other post-approval functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk management policies.
Implement policy directives from local regulatory authorities in Hong Kong and liaise with these authorities during inspections and audits.
Contribute to the development of credit risk management systems by proposing enhancements and participating in user acceptance tests, in alignment with the Bank's risk management framework.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Law and other related discipline.
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in credit risk management within the banking industry, with a preference for 3 or more years of experience in SME lending. SME and corporate loans, the SME Financing Guarantee Scheme, digital banking, and other financing solutions, ensuring alignment with regulatory
In-depth understanding of the latest market best practice in banking, with ECF - Credit Risk Management or other relevant qualifications is preferred.
Familiar with Hong Kong regulatory policies, including the regulatory policies of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and other regulatory bodies. Strong knowledge of corporate loan credit management regulations and local market practices.
Excellent problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities, exhibit independence, proactiveness, and strong communication skills, and deliver results in high-pressure environments.
Proficiency in both spoken and written Chinese and English, including Putonghua.
