Systems Engineer

This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 2 years with possibility for renewal subject to organization needs and individual performance.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical solutions, design, works coordination, testing and commissioning on electrical and airport systems for new projects, alteration and improvement works
• Prepare tender documents and procurement contracts for enhancement and asset replacement works for electrical and airport systems
• Coordinate with maintenance and operation teams to ensure timely delivery of the projects and in compliance with the Authoritys requirements
• Ensure detailed design, technical requirements, materials and workmanship are up to required standard
• Identify design and construction issues and liaise with relevant parties to provide effective engineering solutions
• Conduct regular monitoring and evaluation on quality and progress of the works
• Liaise with internal and external parties to ensure the works are conducted in safe and efficient manner with minimal impact on daily airport operations and completed on time

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics Engineering or other related disciplines with minimum 6 years relevant working experience in design, construction and/or maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems
• Professional qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics or other related disciplines gained from recognized professional bodies is required
• Solid experience in airport works, sizeable electrical and mechanical facilities under a live operating environment is an advantage
• Experience in large scale project implementation is an advantage
• Proactive and detail-oriented with good interpersonal, communication, negotiation and organization skills
• Possess a valid HK driving license (class 1, 2) is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
