System Analyst (Angular, gov project)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced System Analyst to join our team for a high-impact public sector project in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the system design, development, and deployment of a web-based application with public-facing capabilities. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications.

• Lead the end-to-end system development lifecycle for web-based applications, including design, development, testing, and deployment.

• Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and stakeholders.

• Design and manage APIs and backend components using Spring Boot.

• Deliver user-friendly frontend functionality leveraging Angular.

• Integrate digital document signing features and ensure compliance with related security standards.

• Utilize Government Cloud Infrastructure Services (GCIS), including IaaS and Notification Services under the Shared Services of the Digital Policy Office (DPO).

• Implement reporting and dashboard features using Business Intelligence (BI) tools.

• Provide ongoing system support, troubleshooting, and enhancement as needed.

• Ensure timely documentation and adhere to government IT project protocols and standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of IT experience, with at least 3 years in implementing web-based applications.

• Experience working on at least 1 public-facing project.

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Angular.

• Minimum 2 years of experience using Spring Boot for enterprise-level application development.

• At least 1 year of experience in any of the following:

• Implementation of digitally signed documents.

• Use of GCIS including Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Notification Services provided by the Digital Policy Office (DPO).

• At least 1 year of experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience in government project delivery in Hong Kong is highly advantageous.
