Operations Officer, Internal Control

Accountabilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain internal control policies and procedures

• Review and update existing control frameworks to ensure effectiveness

• Monitor adherence to established policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

• Conduct regular assessments of control effectiveness and identify potential control gaps

• Prepare internal control reports for management and report significant control issues

• Establish communication channels for policy updates and develop training materials for staff

• Collaborate closely with various departments to enhance operational efficiency, foster a culture of compliance and continuous improvement, and formulate and execute policies

• Evaluate and review various operational systems and products to ensure effectiveness and efficiency

• Handle ad-hoc operational projects

Experience & Skills

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field

• 2-3 years of experience in compliance, risk management, internal control or a related field

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Knowledge of internal control principles and compliance requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Power point and Excel

• Candidate with more experience will be considered as senior role
