Supervisor (Building)

The postholder will assist the Campus Development Office in maintaining the buildings and facilities of the Academy. Duties include:- Handling building repair and maintenance related works;- Involved in improvement and renovation projects;- Supervising works contractors and technicians;- Assisting in monitoring statutory compliance of buildings and facilities;- Performing shift and emergency duties, etc.

Applicants should have :(a) (i) A Higher Diploma in Building Surveying / Building Studies / Engineering or other relevant disciplines with a minimum of 4 year experience in building repair and maintenance; OR  (ii) A Higher Certificate in Building Surveying / Building Studies / Engineering or other relevant disciplines with a minimum of 6 years experience in building repair and maintenance.(b) Five passes in HKCEE or Level 2 or equivalent in five subjects in HKDSE subjects, including English Language and Chinese Language.

(c)  Holding a valid safety training course certificate (commonly known as “Green Card”);(d) Skill and experience in computer software applications including AutoCAD, MS-Office, etc.;(e)  A high degree of self-motivation, and good supervisory, interpersonal and communication skills; and(f)  Good written and spoken communications in both English and Chinese.
