Principal Head (Campus Development and Operations)

The Position: 

• The Academy is now looking for a high calibre executive who will support the senior management in formulating and implementing the Academys strategy initiatives.

• He/She is required to oversee various offices and give steer on areas related to campus development, facility management, venue operations, etc. and ensure that they are delivered effectively, efficiently and in full compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks.

• The appointee will assist senior management to establish operational priorities and to drive related projects forward. He/She may represent the Academy to attend meetings, including various Legislative Council panels and District Council meetings, on ad hoc projects and matters relating to campus development.

Job Requirements : - A strong administrative background and an extensive track record of involvement in a wide range of operational areas- Substantial experience in managing strategy studies, capital works projects, facility management and operations in sizeable organisations, preferably in tertiary institution(s) - Candidate with relevant professional qualification in the areas of architecture, engineering, surveying or a related discipline and track record of leading developmental projects will be an advantage- Conversant with government procedures, particularly on procurement, tendering and funding submissions- Demonstrable high-level of management and organisational skills- Ability to draft complex documents such as funding submissions, project reports and Council papers- High level of spoken and written proficiency in English and Chinese languages
