Product and Sourcing Manager

Duties:

● Identify and evaluate reliable suppliers of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and consumables.

● Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.

● Evaluate product performance, quality, and compliance with safety/environmental standards.

● Assess supplier risks (e.g., supply chain disruptions) and develop contingency plans.

● Work with operations teams to understand product needs and recommend improvements.

● Implement sustainable sourcing practices where possible (eco-friendly, biodegradable, etc.).

● Streamline procurement processes to improve efficiency and reduce lead times.

● Collaborate with finance and operations teams to understand product needs and recommend improvementswith budget constraints.

● Monitor market trends, new product innovations, and industry best practices in cleaning supplies.

Qualifications:

● Diploma or degree in business or a related field

● 3-5 years of product management and sourcing experience, preferably in the cleaning products industry.

● Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.

● Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and industry suppliers.

● Familiarity with sustainability practices in sourcing is a plus.

● Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external partners.
