Operations Manager (sen-ryo)
The job:
Operation Management
- Manages processes and communication to ensure actionable operations plans are executed to the expected return on investment, financial targets and service standards
- Drives for operational excellence by improving : (i) food and service quality; (ii) productivity and (iii) profitability
- Ensures operations effectiveness including monitoring and checking plan progress, keeping track of deadlines and developing new operation flow to improve quality and effectiveness
Customer Service
- Identifies and enhances service offerings to meet the requirements and exceeds clients expectations
- Promotes service excellence and ensures the customer complaint management process or emergency incident management process enable to recover customer confidence and enhance their satisfaction and engagement
- Ensure compliance with all contract obligations and interact with Client Management and maintain effective client and customer relations at all levels of client organization
Strategic Planning & Implementation
- Manages the overall business performance of the designated business lines [sen-ryo]
- Assists in the development of the core business to support the short term and long term corporate goals, achieving profitable growth
- Executes well thought approaches to strengthen sen-ryo competitive position in the institutional catering market sector and continue to seek selective opportunities for business growth and expansion locally and regionally
Staff Supervision & Development
- Provides feedback, instructions, and development guidance to help staff members excel in their current or future job responsibilities
- Plans and supports the development of staff members knowledge, skills and abilities
Business Partnerships
- Develops and maintains an excellent understanding of the designated business partners business needs
- Continually broadens and strengthens key business partner relationship both internally and externally through regular business contact and communication
What you will need:
- Degree holder of Business Administration or other related disciplines
- At least 15 years work experience with 10 years supervisory experience
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong communication skills, analytical skills, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting
- Collaborative working style, with the ability to build and foster strong relationships with different stakeholders
- Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
- Proficient in MS Excel and other applications
