Laboratory Assistant (Histopathology Laboratory)

• Job Responsibilities

  • Perform phlebotomy and electrocardiogram for patients in accordance with instructions
  • Perform pre-analytical processing and preparation of various types of pathological specimens
  • Operate general laboratory equipment and handle basic laboratory work
  • Carry out a range of other supportive duties for the laboratory including cleansing and disinfecting jobs
  • Assist in the data entry, reception and specimen registration
  • Assist in specimen archival and storage
  • Perform shift duties
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors

  Job Requirements

  • F.5/S.5 or above
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Familiar with MS Office applications & Chinese word processing
  • F.5/S.5 or above with Science related subjects preferred
  • Experience in Laboratory is preferred
