Front Office Developer

Our client is a global Investment Bank with a collaborative and dynamic culture.
They are seeking for an experienced and diligent IT System Developer to support the delivery of their trading platform focusing on Asian equities markets.
The Role:
Develop in-house front and middle office systems, as well as planning and executing unit, functional, and integration testing based on specified functional requirements.
Create required development documents, including test plans and recording test results.
Analyse, develop, test, and implement the developed systems.
Collaborate with the first-level support team to provide second-line support, and working closely with other internal IT teams to analyse and resolve technical issues
Conduct feasibility studies and impact analysis for potential system solutions and presenting clear recommendations for business decision-making.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 3 years experience in Investment Banking or Securities Trading, with relevant involvement in developing and supporting equities trading or middle/back-office systems.
Must have hands-on experience with C#/Java, Linux, Shell scripting, Excel VBA, and SQL.
Strong understanding of equity trading and middle/back-office operations
Nice to have: SSIS, Python, Omgeo CTM, AWS Cloud, Gloss, Ullink, and Fidessa
Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—in English and Chinese
Proactive, capable of managing multiple tasks, with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; results driven.
