Brief Job Overview:

As an MYP Coordinator at one of our secondary schools, you will play a vital part in assuring the highest quality of learning and teaching across the IB continuum. You will work closely with the Curriculum Leaders and be responsible for implementing effective programmes by contributing to the planning, learning and teaching of lessons. Our MYP Coordinators are also expected to contribute to the development of people, professional learning and organisational culture.

This opportunity will require you to assume roles beyond the classroom as you will be required to be a key leader within the school community. We are seeking individuals who can work collaboratively with colleagues and other members of the school community. Additionally, you will be expected to participate in the development of school policies and programmes. It is likely that this role will have some teaching responsibilities.

General Requirements

Bachelors degree in Education or a Bachelors degree in any subject with a Postgraduate

Certificate/Diploma in Education (PGCE/PGDE)

*iPGCE (assessment only) is not eligible for Teacher Registration status by the Hong Kong Education Bureau

An understanding of the MYP and the key underpinnings of the curriculum frameworks is advantageous

Experience in leadership roles is required
