About the Role

852 Films — one of Hong Kongs most innovative independent film studios — is launching a full-scale digital transformation of our corporate website. Were creating a modern, immersive platform that not only showcases our film, music, and production services, but also powers e-commerce, fosters a fan community, and serves as a B2B sales tool.

Were looking for an experienced and technically capable Digital Project Manager to lead this transformation. Youll be responsible for overseeing the technical planning and execution of the website build from concept to deployment, working closely with internal stakeholders and managing external freelance talent and vendors.

This is a pivotal and hands-on role. Youll work across design, development, content, and commerce to ensure our new digital platform is both beautiful and high-performing.

Your Core Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full website revamp project 

• Define, prioritize, and manage technical requirements across all website components: front-end, back-end, e-commerce, user accounts, content hosting, CRM integration, analytics, and security

• Develop and maintain the project roadmap, delivery timelines, and milestones

• Evaluate and onboard external freelancers and agencies as needed (devs, designers, copywriters, etc.)

• Act as primary liaison between internal stakeholders and external execution teams

• Facilitate sprint planning, reviews, and weekly progress meetings

• Ensure a high-quality product is delivered on time and on budget

• Coordinate handover to QA, marketing, and operations at launch

What We Expect From You

• Technical understanding of modern website development processes, CMS integration, hosting, SEO, mobile-first UX, and e-commerce workflows

• Experience writing or reviewing technical briefs, wireframes, and product specifications

• Strong project management experience in digital or web design projects (minimum 3-5 years)

• Demonstrated success working with external freelancers or creative agencies

• Proven ability to translate creative direction into actionable deliverables

• High attention to detail, accountability, and solution-oriented thinking

• Experience working with tools like Figma, Jira, Notion, Trello, CMS platforms, etc.

• Fluent English required; Cantonese a plus

• Past experience building content + commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify + WordPress integration)

• Familiarity with creative or entertainment industry workflows

• Light design or UX skills a plus

• Background in performance marketing or digital strategy helpful
