As a Data Scientist, youll leverage LLMs, machine learning, and scalable engineering to transform unstructured data - including social media and proprietary datasets - into actionable, real-time intelligence. Your work will be at the heart of our AI-driven platform, where advanced NLP models and distributed systems combine to deliver cutting-edge analytics for clients, effectively bridging raw data with strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable data pipelines (batch/streaming) for ingesting and processing terabytes of unstructured text.

• Optimize ETL workflows for efficiency and low-latency (e.g., Apache Airflow, Kafka, or cloud-native tools).

• Collaborate with engineers to productionize models (APIs, microservices, serverless functions).

• Develop and fine-tune NLP models (sentiment analysis, topic clustering, entity extraction) for Chinese/English text.

• Experiment with LLM augmentation (e.g., RAG, prompt engineering) for automated insight generation.

• Implement model monitoring to track performance drift in production.

• Build AI agents (e.g., LangChain, AutoGPT) to automate repetitive analysis tasks.

• Containerize models using Docker and deploy via CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).

• Write clean, maintainable code with unit tests and logging (Pytest, Logging Library).

• Work with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) to optimize cost and performance (e.g., serverless vs. batch processing).

• Debug and profile bottlenecks in data workflows (e.g., Spark optimization, DB indexing).

Core Competencies

• Masters+ in Statistics, Data Science, CS, or related quantitative field

• 2- 4 years data science experience with software engineering exposure

• ML: Supervised/unsupervised learning, model evaluation, optimization

• Solid background in statistical modeling and related knowledge

• NLP: Text processing, sentiment analysis, topic modeling, LLMs (BERT, fine-tuning, RAG)

• Engineering: Python (Pandas, Sklearn), Git, SQL/NoSQL, APIs, Docker

• Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin)

• Continuous learner (side projects, MOOCs, open-source)

• Growth mentality - challenges as opportunities

• Strong problem-solving & analytical thinking

• Collaborative yet self-driven
