DREAM Support Service Centre for Ethnic Minorities (funded by Home Affairs Department)

Duties : (a) Provide casework and counselling service, conduct home visits and outreaching in the district. (b) Supervise, plan, design, develop and implement different kinds of services / programmes. (c) Evaluate and monitor the implementation of home visits, outreaches and other support services. (d) Recruit, supervise and train the interns and volunteers. (e) Evaluate the performance of Project Officers. (f) Handle enquiries and complaints of the ethnic minorities needs and concerns.

Requirements : (a) Registered Social Worker in Hong Kong with a recognized Degree in Social Work from a Hong Kong university or equivalent. (b) One year or above social work experience in developing and conducting various kinds of groups, programmes and outreach for target service users. (c) Ability to develop programme management plan, achieve performance results, monitor and evaluate staff and programmes. (d) Proven ability to network with other agencies and generate resources for the programmes. (e) Good command of oral and written English. (f) Able to read, write and effectively communicate in Chinese and/or any EM language is an advantage. (g) Demonstrate positive and self-motivated attitude, and ability to work independently with minimum supervision. (h) Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. (i) Ability to work in multi-cultural team and work environment. (j) Proficiency in computer skills and knowledge, e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
