Cloud Project Manager

I am working with an MNC Insurance for a multi-year Cloud Migration Program.

We are looking for a seasoned Project Manager with a proven track record of successfully managing complex IT project or on-prem to cloud migration project.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading technical modernization project and work collaboratively with vendor, Infra, offshore development team to orchestrate the project activities.
• Develop detailed project plans including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets. Oversee execution and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders, ensure clear communication and alignment on project objectives.
• Collaborate with Architects and Technical teams to create migration plan and ensuring compatibility and performance optimization in clouds
• Lead cross functional teams, including external vendors, developers, testers, and operations staff to ensure successful project delivery

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in IT project implementation and 2 years on cloud migration projects.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and legacy systems.
• Familiarity with data migration tools and methodologies
• Proficiency in project management software e.g. Jira and collaboration tool e.g. Confluence
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges
• Fluency in English and Cantonese are required, Mandarin is a plus
