Assistant Manager / Manager, Structured Finance (ESG focus)

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the team in structuring and executing sustainable finance transactions in collaboration with Relationship Managers.

• Conduct researches on ESG developments and disclosures.

• Support the team in developing and implementing the ESG strategic projects.

• Support the team in managing relevant records, databases and reports.

• Provide administrative support for department and perform other ad-hoc assignments as required.

• Assist in consolidating and providing pertinent scheduled reports for department as well as taking prompt actions, especially in relation to our service delivery to our internal and external clients.

• Comply with anti-money laundering / counter terrorist financing requirement and sanction risks controls in accordance with regulatory standards and CNCBI policies.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Environmental Studies, Sustainable Finance, Business Administration, Computing Science or related disciplines; and or certificate holder in ESG related studies.

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in ESG area or structured finance and loan syndication field gained from region of Asia Pacific.

• Good understanding on the local industry and market developments relating to corporate or financial institution in ESG aspects; and financial institutions ESG related frameworks and policies, etc.

• Good analytical, interpersonal and communications skills.

• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).

• Possess the required qualifications and license under SFC for dealing in securities will be an advantage.

• Possess the qualification of Associate Green Finance Professional (Product & Servicing) (AGFP(PS)) preferred.
