Account Manager

Reporting to the Customer Services Director, you will work closely with the sales and engineering service team in the local office and the competence centre in Europe for the sales and business development and engineering support / coordination for the region. How will you make a difference? The Account Manager will serve as the key interface with the customer and effectively manage interactions across the full range of Wabtec Transit products. Experience in customer facing roles within high engineering value add products and systems is required and experience in the rail industry is highly desirable. What will your typical day look like?
- Responsible for all round sales for the aftermarket business for Hong Kong;
- Support South East Asia aftermarket sales director in preparation of tender in other countries in the region as needed;
- To promote the companys full range engineering solution (both services and product) for the aftermarket including platform door, train door, HVAC and power system, brakes and safety system, power collection products, and passenger information system, etc;
- Identify and create new business opportunity from both commercial and technical aspect;
- Be the interface with the customer and the competence centers of various products / activity in Europe and Asia;
- Work closely with the sales team, CS operation team, CS engineering team and the competence centers in preparing the tender, technical and commercial offer;
- Regular meeting with customers, reporting via CRM tool;
- Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor
- Degree holder in Business related subject;
- Minimum 3-4 years sales experience, b2b preferred;
- Previous experience in railway, building and construction, engineering or automotive industry is a preferred;
- Good communication and presentation skill;
- Good command of spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin;
- A good team player, self-motivated with positive mindset;
- Highly energetic, creative & open mind with can-do attitude.
