Technical Project Manager (Data)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the projects design, usage, and timelines, guiding IT teams throughout the process.
  • Engage with users for data mart design, ensuring business needs are met and facilitating adoption.
  • Collaborate with IT team to build and model data marts
  • Maintain familiarity with data structure and modeling principles; experience with banking data warehouses is essential.
  • Lead efforts in building and enhancing data platforms.
  • Bring a user-centric approach to project tasks and deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in project management within a technical environment.
  • Proven track record in leading data-related projects in a financial services context.
  • Proficient in SQL and Python.
  • Experience with cloud technologies; familiarity with SAS is a bonus.
  • Strong background in data governance and data modeling.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with IT and business teams.
  • Experience with Oracle on-prem data modeling is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills for user engagement and project leadership.
