Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site Senior Offensive Security Consultant role based in 香港. The consultant will plan, execute, and report on offensive security engagements, including penetration tests, red team exercises, and security assessments for applications, networks, and infrastructure. Daily responsibilities include scoping projects with clients, performing threat modeling, identifying vulnerabilities, and developing realistic attack scenarios aligned with emerging threat landscapes. The role involves producing clear, actionable technical and executive‑level reports, presenting findings to stakeholders, and advising on remediation strategies and security improvements. The consultant will also contribute to internal research, develop offensive tools and methodologies, mentor junior team members, and support the continuous enhancement of COFFSec’s offensive security capabilities.

Qualifications

Strong Security Consulting skills, including scoping, client communication, risk assessment, and delivery of actionable recommendations.
Proven expertise in Application Security, such as web and mobile penetration testing, secure code review, and common vulnerability classes (e.g., OWASP Top 10).
Deep understanding of core Cybersecurity principles, threat modeling, adversary techniques (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK), and offensive tooling.
Hands‑on Network Security experience, including infrastructure penetration testing, network protocols, and assessment of cloud and on‑prem environments.
Solid Information Security knowledge, including security frameworks, policies, compliance considerations, and secure architecture fundamentals.
Proficiency with common offensive security tools and scripting languages (e.g., Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, Cobalt Strike, Python, PowerShell, Bash).
Experience leading or significantly contributing to red team operations, purple team exercises, or complex multi‑stage engagements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical findings to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Ability to work collaboratively in a high‑trust, research‑driven environment and mentor less‑experienced consultants.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; relevant certifications (e.g., OSCP, OSWE)
