Salary range:HK$56,450 to HK$82,330 plus HK$3,000 Special Allowance

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clients with home-based & centre-based rehabilitation service and treatment in occupational therapy including all patient care process and handling complicated cases with specialized treatment;
• Design, prescribe, supervise, monitor rehabilitation exercise classes and provide health education for clients;
• Conduct educational talks/rehabilitation group training to carers and other service providers;
• Evaluate outcome measures data and prepare rehabilitation service reports;
• Engage in clinical study and develop clinical guidelines, protocols and patient care process to enhance the service quality and safety;
• Supervise staff and ensure teamwork with effective communication and collaboration;
• Promote and develop the service, and keep abreast of the professional development and issues related to service, etc.; and
• Assist the Service In-charge in service planning, development and administration.

• A recognized Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent, preferably with a relevant Masters Degree;
• A Certificate of Registration (Part I) and a valid Practising Certificate issued by the Occupational Therapists Board, Hong Kong;
• Practise as an Occupational Therapist for at least 3 years;
• Distinct attributes and abilities: supervision and coaching, analytical and logical thinking, problem solving, organizational power, attention to details, interpersonal and communication skills, work independence and a good team player;
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and
• Empathy and commitment to patient care, and willingness to travel to remote places and villages.
