We are seeking a HR and Finance Manager to join the team. The HR and Finance Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining the school's HR systems (including ENet, Oracle, and PRD), as well as providing support for accounting functions. This role also involves preparing and analysing financial statements and management reports to ensure the effective operation of the school.
Responsibility Human Resources
Oversees and manages all aspects of HR, including recruitment, job advertisements, salary scale monitoring, retention, leave management etc.
Generate regular HR reports for school management to inform strategic decisions
Reviews employee data entered by the administrator or assistant – administration to ensure completeness and accuracy in the HR system.
Serves as the school's HR lead, manages and coaches team members, and supports their professional growth. Assist the Principal in conducting the performance review (PRD) with the team. Organises Staff Induction and EAccess training for new employees
Guide team members in addressing HR related inquiries from the staff Finance
Supervises and reviews the entry of payroll information for school-based employees, including Timesheets for supply teachers and leave records for all employees in the system
Prepares financial statements and management reports to support senior management
Records and controls asset management activities
Maintains reconciliations of all Bank and General Ledger accounts
Petty Cash and Staff Reimbursement Management:
Verify all petty cash accounts and ensure secure storage
Conduct monthly reviews of petty cash transactions with the Procurement Officer
Ensuring all the petty cash purchases and staff reimbursement are pre-approved by the Principal
Governance and Compliance
Liaises with ESF Centre to ensure school practices are aligned with 公司名稱 policies
Ensure prior approval and supporting documents are obtained before any purchase commitment or procurement transactions
Ensures compliance with relevant HK legislation applicable to the school
Ensure all forms are signed by approvers and properly maintained to support school activities
Manages annual declarations for all staff members, including School Council members and supply staff
Oversee school council responsibilities, including issuing letters of appointment and election documents etc.
Performs additional duties as assigned by the Principal, including agreed objectives such as morning duties to greet students etc.
Requirement
Bachelor in Accounting / Finance / Business Administration / other relevant subjects
LCCI higher in accounting or equivalent bookkeeping qualifications
Member of recognized professional Accounting bodies
5 years relevant experience
Excellent hands-on experience using Excel and Word Knowledge
Knowledge of relevant HK Ordinances (e.g. Employment, Immigration, Equal Opportunity etc.)
