General Manager – Student Housing Platform (Hong Kong)

Our client, a private fund launching a pioneering student housing platform in Hong Kong, is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead operations at their first property.

• Lead the full operational setup and day‑to‑day management of the first student housing property.
• Develop and implement strategies across key performance areas: financial control, sales & marketing, guest satisfaction, employee management, and property maintenance.
• Drive occupancy and revenue growth through innovative marketing and customer engagement strategies.
• Build and manage a high‑performing team, fostering a culture of service excellence and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
• Collaborate with ownership and corporate stakeholders to align property performance with strategic goals.
• Prepare and manage annual budgets, capital expenditure plans, and financial reporting.
• Oversee refurbishment and maintenance programs to ensure optimal living conditions for residents.

• Proven leadership experience in managing student housing, serviced apartments, boutique hotels, co‑living or residential properties.
• Strong track record in pre‑opening operations and scaling property portfolios.
• Deep understanding of Hong Kong’s market.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
