Data Analytics Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality datasets.
  • Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reporting tools to support business intelligence initiatives.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across all analytics platforms.
  • Optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues and implement proactive solutions.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering and analytics.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python (or other scripting languages).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and data governance principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Prefect).
  • Knowledge of machine learning workflows and integration with analytics pipelines.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and version control (e.g., Git).
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
