Our clients have built up a deep and profound level of experience in wealth planning and protection, they are now looking for potential candidate to join their team as Cloud Migration Technical Project Manager.
Responsibilities
Spearhead the technical modernization project, collaborating with vendors, infrastructure teams, and offshore development staff to coordinate project activities
Create comprehensive project plans that detail scope, timelines, resources, and budgets, ensuring projects are executed on time and within budget
Act as the primary contact for all stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and alignment on project objectives
Collaborate with Architects and technical teams to formulate migration plans, ensuring cloud compatibility and performance optimization
Lead cross-functional teams, including external vendors, developers, testers, and operations personnel, to guarantee successful project delivery
Maintain thorough project documentation and deliver regular status reports to management and stakeholders
Oversee the migration process to ensure adherence to best practices and quality standards, conducting rigorous testing prior to deployment
Effectively manage change requests, ensuring all modifications are documented and approved by relevant stakeholders
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. PMP/CSM or equivalent certification is preferred
Minimum of 8 years in IT project implementation, focusing on data migration, technology upgrades, and legacy system migrations to cloud, with at least 2 years dedicated to cloud migration projects
Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and legacy systems; familiarity with data migration tools and methodologies
Proficient in project management software (e.g., Jira) and collaboration tools (e.g., Confluence)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Agile methodologies and frameworks
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Understanding of compliance and security standards relevant to cloud migrations
Experience in the insurance industry, particularly with policy administration platforms and related systems
