Clinical Development Engineer (Medical Device)

Responsibilities

• Perform the creation of clinical procedure materials such as procedure guides, set-up cards, and clinical videos to enable training to both internal and external customers.

• Offer clinical support for medical robots including but not limited to address any technical issues, user questions or other problems to ensure the robots continue functioning properly and optimally meeting the needs and expectations of the physicians and patients.

• Analyze the workflows and needs of physicians to determine specific clinical requirements for medical robot systems in a highly useful and impactful manner.

• Support the collaborating across the Company as needed especially on regulatory, human factors and usability, and quality to ensure the respective indications are aligned with the regulatory objectives.

• Help in the creation of clinical design validation protocols and reports.

• Perform other ad-hoc tasks / projects as assigned.

Qualification

• Bachelor or above in Biomedical Engineering or relevant field. Fresh graduate would also be considered.

• Affinity with clinical environment and medical device.

• A good understanding, and preferably proven experience, of the medical product development process as relates to the development of surgical devices in a regulated environment.

• Strong problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills.

• Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory.
