HK$17,286 to HK$26,908 [HGPS point 2 to 9] per month including Monthly Allowance

Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance

Key Responsibilities: 

1.     To provide clerical and administrative support to the A&E Registration Office and Shroff Office.

2.     To perform 24-hour shift duties including overnight shift.

3.     To perform A&E medical records sorting and filing.

4.     To provide counter services for patient registration and fee collection and handle the tasks with various HA systems including IPAS, OPAS etc.

5.     To handle frequent updates of Patient Mater Index (PMI) including the “Move Episode” function.

6.     To answer all sorts of public enquiries, including patients location.

7.     To handle enquiries from external and internal parties such as medical staff/ wards/ patients/ visitors, both in-person enquiry and telephone enquiry.

8.     To collect, verify data and compile statistical reports for management and services evaluation.

9.     To assist in local workflow design and monitoring workflow implementation.

10. To operate various HA I.T. systems.

11. To assist in the co-ordination of meetings/programmes.

12. To perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor(s).

Entry Requirements:

1.     (a) Passes in 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination including English Language (Syllabus B), Chinese Language and Mathematics, or equivalent. OR(b) 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education attaining the level specified below:

-         Level 2 in English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics; and

-         Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects/ "Attained" in Applied Learning subjects/ Grade E in Other Language subjects; or equivalent.

2.     Ability to perform typing, word processing and/or Chinese word processing.

Preferable Attributes/Exposure:

1.         Knowledge of HA IT systems such as IPAS, OPAS etc.

2.         Working experience in customer service with a good manner.

3.         Knowledge of common office automation (e.g. operation of fax machine) and PC applications (e.g. MS Office Applications)

4.         Proactive, responsible, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

5.         Good interpersonal and communication skills.

6.         Fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin is an advantage.
