Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end handling of complex casualty/liability claims, including Commercial General Liability (CGL), ensuring timely and accurate resolution.

• Financial Lines claims experience (e.g., D&O, E&O, PI) will be a strong advantage.

• Conduct thorough investigations to evaluate liability, policy coverage, and damages, collaborating with adjusters, legal experts, and third-party providers.

• Review and settle claims within authority limits, optimizing settlement outcomes while maintaining cost efficiency.

• Provide technical expertise to the team, supporting process improvements and automation initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with local regulations and governance standards throughout the claims process.

• Address and resolve inquiries from clients, colleagues, and business partners promptly and professionally.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share insights, enhance service delivery, and drive best practices.

• Support additional ad-hoc projects and initiatives as required.

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience in casualty/liability claims handling, preferably with exposure to large and complex claims.

• Experience in Financial Lines claims (e.g., professional indemnity, D&O) is a plus.

• Bachelors degree or higher in a relevant field.

• Professional certifications (e.g., ANZIIF Senior Associate/Fellow) preferred.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with meticulous attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.

• Fluency in English and Chinese (written and spoken).

• Proficiency in claims management systems and Microsoft Office.

• A proactive team player with a growth mindset and adaptability to changing business needs.

• Immediate availability is advantageous.

Senior Claims Specialist title may be considered for candidates with additional experience.
