• Plan, develop, coordinate and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in psychology, including classroom teaching and programme administration.
• Design, review and administer programmes and curricula, ensuring alignment with academic and professional standards.
• Supervise student practicum, internships and honours projects, providing mentorship that bridges theory and practice.
• Maintain strong connections with industry and professional organisations and participate in scholarly, professional and community service activities.
• Engage in academic research, publication and research grant applications.
• Participate in School/University activities and administration.

• Earned doctorate in Psychology and a professional qualification in Counselling Psychology.
• Registered or Licensed Counselling Psychologist.
• Minimum of five years of post‑qualification practising experience in Counselling Psychology or a related mental health field.
• Outstanding academic background with demonstrated leadership in higher education.
• Substantial relevant teaching and professional experience, including postgraduate supervision, programme and course development and administration, with significant contributions and innovation in curriculum development, course design and teaching methodologies.
• Proven fieldwork supervision experience in counselling or mental health settings.
• Solid record of research and peer‑reviewed publications in reputable outlets, success in securing external competitive research grants, and notable achievements in knowledge transfer.
• Considerable contribution to the University, profession and community.
