Assistant Facility Manager/ Senior Facility Engineer (Data Center)

• MNC Data Center operation (Client side)

About the Client:My client, a MNC data center solution providing company is greatly expanding their business across APAC including Hong Kong and southeast Asia. They are now looking for Assistant Facility Manager/ Senior Facility Engineer (mech) to join their fast-growing team in Hong Kong. Reporting directly to the senior facility Manager, this position will manage the operations functions at the facility with the objectives of guaranteeing business continuity and operations excellence.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Supervise and assign work orders to the technical team to carry out routine repair and maintenance work.
• As a technical professional for all facilities-related issues within the data center of Asia-Pacific, escalating to the HQ tech team as needed.
• Perform RCA (root cause analysis) of critical equipment failures.
• Troubleshoot and report of facility and data sever-level events within internal SLA
• Schedule and implement planned maintenance work as assigned.
• Prepare approval form to top management for the procurement of any goods/services.
• Assist in testing and commissioning of tenants' fit out works and handover of premises to new tenants.

Candidate Profile:

• Degree holder in Building Services, Electrical & Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines is preferred.
• Ample and relevant working experience, familiar with electrical and/or mechanical maintenance. Experience in Data Centre design and construction is a must.
• Familiar with UPS, Gensets, chiller plant, LV switchboards and CRACs
