Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Analyst to join our Group compliance team. The role focuses on daily trade surveillance, fiat transaction monitoring, and virtual asset analytics (KYT/KYA). The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring client trading activities, identifying suspicious transactions, investigating alerts, and supporting the firm's compliance with SFC, AML/CFT, market conduct and internal regulatory requirements.

This role is ideal for candidates with 1-2 years of experience in KYA/KYT, transaction monitoring, trade surveillance, AML investigations, or compliance monitoring within a licensed corporation, brokerage, bank, or financial institution(FI).

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily trade surveillance reviews and monitoring activities to identify potential market misconduct and suspicious trading patterns.
• Conduct trade reconstruction and analysis using trading data and client information.
• Analyse wallet transfers related to risk exposure and blockchain screening.
• Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, controls, and ongoing monitoring programs.
• Provide guidance and support to various departments on compliance matters.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure timely and accurate regulatory reporting.
• Stay abreast of regulatory developments and ensure the organization’s compliance framework remains current and effective.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in law, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• At least 1-2 years within the cryptocurrency industry in crypto compliance, and at least 5 years of experience in trade surveillance and AML transaction monitoring within an SFC-licensed firm or FI.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• Experience in KYT analytical tools (e.g. Chainalysis, Eliptics) is a strong plus
