Seeking for an experienced Operational Risk Manager to join the bank's risk management department in a dynamic hybrid capacity. In this role, you will support the Branch’s operational risk framework, drive business continuity management, and oversee a diverse portfolio of HKMA related risk projects. You will work closely with the regional operational risk team and multiple internal departments to assess risks, review controls, support ad‑hoc projects, and ensure full alignment with both HKMA regulatory standards.

Key Competencies

Analytical thinking, attention to detail, stakeholder communication, project management, and HKMA regulatory knowledge

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Risk: Facilitate annual Risk & Control Self‑Assessments, manage incident reporting, prepare risk reports, and conduct gap analyses against HKMA SPM
• Outsourcing Risk: Oversee third‑party risk assessments, contract monitoring, and periodic outsourcing review
• BCM: Maintain Business Continuity Plans and collaborate with regional BCM team
• Risk Projects: Support the Head of Risk on ad‑hoc initiatives (e.g., Deposit Protection Scheme, C‑RAF, policy updates).

Role Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related fie
• Experience: 5+ years in operational risk management within banking
• Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and risk assessment capabilities
• Certification: ECF-ORM preferred
• Language: Fluent English required; Cantonese/Mandarin a plus
