Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Development Manager to join a leading international design and manufacturing organisation serving the hospitality sector across the Asia Pacific region. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on some of the most exciting hospitality projects in the region, collaborating with hotel owners, developers, architects, interior designers, and project stakeholders. If you have a strong background in hotel development, interior architecture, or hospitality design, and are commercially driven, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hotel owners, developers, operators, and design consultants across the APAC region.
  • Identify and secure project opportunities within luxury, upscale, and lifestyle hospitality developments.
  • Collaborate with interior design, architecture, procurement, and project teams from concept to project delivery.
  • Represent the organisation at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings throughout the region.
  • Provide market intelligence and updates on project pipelines to regional leadership.
  • Work closely with manufacturing and technical teams to ensure client requirements are met and projects are successfully delivered.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in hotel development, hospitality design, interior architecture, or related fields.
  • Established network across hotel operators, developers, consultants, and design practices within the Asia Pacific region.
  • Proven track record in business development and client relationship management.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the APAC region.
Day-to-Day
  • Engage with key stakeholders to identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Attend and represent the organisation at industry events and client meetings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Monitor market trends and provide insights to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines and client expectations are met.
