Treasury Manager (Crypto)

1. Liquidity & Treasury Management:

   • Monitor daily cash and cryptocurrency liquidity positions to ensure operational efficiency.

   • Manage fiat and cryptocurrency fund operations, including transfers, settlements, and reconciliations.

   • Optimize yield on idle crypto/fiat assets through staking, lending, and other DeFi/CeFi strategies (where applicable).

   • Forecast cash flow needs and maintain optimal reserve ratios.

2. Risk Management:

   • Monitor and mitigate financial risks, including market volatility, counterparty risk, and FX exposure.

   • Implement hedging strategies to address cryptocurrency price fluctuations.

   • Assess and manage risks associated with crypto custody, exchanges, and third-party service providers.

3. Banking & Payment Partnerships:

   • Maintain relationships with banks, payment processors, and cryptocurrency liquidity providers.

   • Negotiate favorable terms with banking partners and crypto exchanges.

   • Ensure smooth conversion processes between fiat and cryptocurrencies.

4. Compliance & Reporting:

   • Ensure treasury activities comply with financial regulations (AML, KYC, capital controls, etc.).

   • Prepare treasury reports, including liquidity analysis, risk exposure, and financial performance.

5. Process Optimization & Automation:

   • Develop and refine treasury policies, procedures, and internal controls.

   • Identify automation opportunities to enhance efficiency.

• Education: Bachelors degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.

• Experience: 5+ years in treasury management, preferably in fintech, cryptocurrency, or payments.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in treasury management systems, analytical tools, and Excel.

• Risk Management: Strong experience in FX, liquidity, and counterparty risk management.

• Compliance Awareness: Familiarity with financial regulations related to cryptocurrency businesses is a plus.

• Soft Skills: Strong analytical and communication skills, adaptable to a fast-paced startup environment.
