Duties

The appointees will assist the project leader in the research project - “Resilient students training hub (ReST Hub): Creating a strengths-based, trauma-informed mental health promotive ecosystem and enhancing student resilience in tertiary education settings”.  They will be required to:

(a)  conduct research and deliver service/education to promote student mental health and resilience at ReST Hub;

(b)  manage, coordinate and/or participate in the activities of the project;

(c)  coordinate and/or deliver mental health/resilience promotive interventions;

(d)  coordinate and/or deliver training/educational/engagement activities;

(e)  support recruitment of participant, data collection and project evaluation; and

(f)  perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his/her delegates.

The appointees may be required to work outside normal office hours.

Qualifications

Applicants for the Senior Research Fellow post should have a doctoral degree plus at least six years of postdoctoral research experience or equivalent qualifications and experience. Preference will be given to those with experience in trauma-informed care and/or working with vulnerable youths.

Applicants for the Postdoctoral Fellow post should have a doctoral degree or an equivalent qualification and must have no more than five years of post-qualification experience at the time of application.

Applicants for the Research Associate post should have a masters degree or a good honours degree in Psychology, Nursing, Social Sciences or a related discipline with three or more years of research/relevant work experience.

Applicants for the Research Assistant post should have an honours degree in one of the above-mentioned disciplines or an equivalent qualification.
