Senior Quantity Surveyor - Fitting Out

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our leading main contractor in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate must be strong in quantity surveying with a strong background in fitting out projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for fitting out projects.
• Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and measurements.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure project delivery within budget and on schedule.
• Negotiate contracts and manage supplier and subcontractor relationships.
• Monitor project costs and provide advice on cost control measures.
• Conduct risk assessments and identify potential issues impacting project costs.
• Prepare tender documents and assist in the tendering process.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably with a focus on fitting out projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes.
• Proficient in using quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Membership or eligibility for membership in a relevant professional body is a plus.
