SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER (ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all architectural and planning matters of development projects in HK, Macau and Greater China area
• Make recommendations in the selection of Project Architects and specialists
• Work with the Project team in the preliminary design stage to come up with the preliminary design proposals and design schemes for the approval of the Management
• Make detail review on the architectural design drawings on the aspects of statutory requirements, efficiency and economy; use of the right building materials and finishes etc, and ensure minimum future amendments and variations
• Monitor the performance of the Design Architects, in respect of the timely production of working drawings; sufficiency of working detail etc, and oversees the needs of variations and design changes during the course of the construction work
• Take charge and responsibility of the on-site and off-site mock up samples including lobbies, kitchens, bathrooms and clubhouses etc; from the schematic design to final completion to the satisfaction of the Management
• Lead the team in the preparation of all design and working drawings as well as monitoring the progress of their construction which shall be carried out by the Construction/Project team
• Perform ad hoc projects assigned

Requirements:

• Degree holder or above in Architecture or Architectural Design
• Registered Architect, Member of HKIA or Authorized Person
• 15 years working experience in construction business with minimum 8 years working experience with developer
• Solid experience in handling large-scale residential, commercial, retail and mixed building projects is a must
• Familiar with statutory submission requirements and procedures including building, planning and land ordinances
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Excellent leadership and project coordination skills
• Good command of both written and spoken English, Chinese and Putonghua
• Able to work under pressure and handle various projects simultaneously
